PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ CITIZENSHIP AWARDS

The Order of Australia Association recognises that many schools catering for students of primary school age in Queensland, including special schools, are undertaking many exciting and interesting activities, services and projects that promote a commitment to, and pride in, Australian citizenship.

In pursuit of the above ideal, over the past four years, the Association has implemented its Primary Schools' Citizenship Awards programme.

The Association's Committee is at present reviewing the programme.  With a view to introducing a better format.

Regrettably in 2011 the Primary Schools' Citizenship Awards are being held in abeyance pending the outcome of the review.
