The Order of Australia Association is a separate identity being an incorporated Association of recipients of awards in the Order.
Our Objectives
The central objectives of the Association are to foster love of and pride in Australian citizenship, to encourage awareness in the Australian community of Australia's history, traditions and culture, and to promote the development and maintenance of a constructive and positive sense of national unity among Australians.
Association Structure
Branches of the Association have been formed in each State and Territory of the Commonwealth. Some Branches have formed regional groups the distribution of which are detailed here
Any person honoured by the Order, including honorary awards, is eligible to be a member of the Association.
The Association is governed by a National Committee comprising:
- National President
- National Chairman
- Deputy National Chairman
- National Treasurer
- National Secretary
- National Membership Secretary
- Chairman of each State or Territory Branch
